Overview
The Challenger Guaranteed Income Plan is a fixed term immediate annuity that provides a guaranteed regular income for a selected term, in exchange for an initial lump sum investment amount. The Plan can be purchased by investors with either unrestricted non-preserved Eligible Termination Payments (ETPs) or with private investment monies. The Plan is designed for retirees and investors who are seeking a regular income as part of their investment portfolio.

Challenger was named 'Short-term Annuity Provider of the Year 2007' by independent research house Plan for Life. In addition, Challenger won the overall award in 2003, 2005 and 2006. What's more, Challenger Life No. 2 Limited, the issuer of the Challenger Guaranteed Income Plan has been awarded an 'A'1 rating from credit rating agency Standard & Poor's.
