Challenger and UNSW Business School have partnered again to offer the award winning couses, the UNSW Retirement Planning course and the UNSW Aged Care Planning course (Plan For Life / AFA - Life Company of the Year Awards 2013, Annuity & Income Stream Innovation Award).

We are also pleased to announce that we have added the UNSW Aged Care Planning course.

Designed with working financial advisers like you in mind, both courses supplement the existing suite of study required under RG146 by providing specific training in retirement planning and Aged Care advice.

Both courses aim to provide the knowledge necessary to deliver effective financial advice for retirement planning and aged care in the context of increasingly complex financial products and government policies.

Hurry, semester two 2016 starts late July and enrolment numbers are limited.

By understanding the UNSW Retirement Planning course you will learn:

- the economic, financial and other risks facing pre-retirees and retirees
- how to effectively manage these risks as part of the retirement plan
- behavioural factors that influence retiree decision making
- how to construct appropriate retirement income strategies for a wide range of client circumstances.

Course period from 25 July 2016 to 22 November 2016.

The Retirement Planning course is available on a 'non-award' (standalone) basis and for a financial adviser this earns you significant CPD points recognised by both the FPA and AFA. Applications are due 10 July 2016.

The Retirement Planning course is also an elective offered in the Diploma and Master of Financial Planning programs. For semester 2, 2016 the course is available by distance learning. Applications due 31 July 2016.
