Challenger Infrastructure Fund (CIF) is an externally managed investment vehicle. CIF is a stapled security structure, and comprises one unit in CIF Investment Trust 1 (ARSN 114 139 703) and one unit in CIF Investment Trust 2 (ARSN 114 139 632). These units are quoted and traded as if they were a single security.
On IPO, CIF securities were issued on a partly paid basis, with $1.75 per security paid by investors upon initial application and the balance of $1.75 per security paid on 21 August 2006. CIF has total funds under management of nearly $2.1 billion as at December 2007.
