Our advertising campaign
Our 'Real Stories' TV advertisements are short films which tell the story of four people whose retirement plans were affected by the GFC. While Peter, Judy, Andrew and Deb are fictional characters, their situations are very real, and drawn from the stories many of us have heard from our friends, our parents, their friends, our in-laws and others.
Our campaign message is not that shares are a bad investment. In fact, we agree that growth assets like shares are important when building our super during our working lives. However, as the 'Real Stories' show, it's different when we're living on our super. Because no-one knows when a market crash will occur, we need to make sure at least some of our capital is protected.
