Overview

Challenger Wine Trust (ASX:CWT) listed on the Australian Securities Exchange (ASX) on 2 July 1999.

CWT aims to provide investors with exposure to a diversified portfolio of high quality, well located vineyards which offer low risk, predictable income returns and potential for capital growth.

In pursuing this investment objective, CWT adopts an active investment strategy.

CWT holds investment interests in 22 vineyards (inclusive of two wineries) located across Australia and New Zealand valued at $262 million.  Tenants at CWT's vineyards include large scale wine industry operators such as Australian Vintage Ltd, Foster's Group, Pernod Ricard Pacific, Warburn Estate and Grant Burge Wines in Australia, and Delegat's Group (owner of the Oyster Bay brand) in New Zealand.
