Overview
Challenger Wine Trust (ASX: CWT) is an externally managed property trust. CWT listed in 1999 to offer capital solitions to wine industry participants.
In pursuing its investment objective, CWT adopts an active investment strategy.
CWT holds investment interests in 21 vineyards (inclusive of two wineries) located across Australia and New Zealand valued at $236 million. Tenants at CWT's vineyards include large scale wine industry operators such as Australian Vintage Ltd, Foster's Group, Pernod Ricard Pacific, Warburn Estate and Grant Burge Wines in Australia, and Delegat's Group (owner of the Oyster Bay brand) in New Zealand.
