Melbourne International Flower and Garden show

The Melbourne International Garden and Flower show is the largest flower show in the southern hemisphere and welcomes over 100,000 visitors a year. In 2024, 2025 and 2026, we are presenting partner of the Challenger Achievable Garden Competition, offering students and educational institutions a unique opportunity to showcase their design skills and horticultural knowledge.

Acclaimed landscape designer and television personality Charlie Albone designed our 2024 and 2025 feature garden display within the Achievable Gardens.

In 2026, the Challenger feature garden will be built by Semken Landscaping – one of Australia’s most respected and award-winning landscape construction companies, renowned for their craftmanship and long-standing involvement with the Melbourne International Flower and Garden Show.

“The 2026 Challenger feature garden celebrates the joy of simplicity. An inspiring, low maintenance outdoor space designed for anyone to enjoy and easy enough for DIY garden lovers to recreate at home. Drawing from natural textures, bold structure and resilient plant choices, the garden blends relaxed lawn areas, sculptural pathways and a welcoming timber pergola to create a space that feels effortlessly inviting. Lush screening and vibrant planting offer character without complexity, making the garden as practical as it is beautiful. “
