Challenger operates three core investment businesses - a fiduciary Funds Management division, an APRA-regulated Life division and an APRA-regulated authorised deposit-taking institution (ADI).

In 2021, Challenger acquired a digital bank that offers customers a range of simple savings and lending products, including guaranteed term deposits, and is regulated by APRA.
