Entry
1. Eligibility and Entry form
Entry is open to Australian residents aged 18 and over. To be eligible for the competition, each of these criteria must be met. Participants must complete the entry form with the required details. Only one entry per person is permitted. Any prize awarded is personal to the individual and cannot be transferred or exchanged. The entry form can be completed in one of two ways: a) via the Challenger website; b) via the form hosted within the Facebook app.
2. Accessing the entry form
Participants can access the entry form through the following methods:
- On the website: By visiting challenger.com.au/tearailinksnzcomp
- At live events: By scanning the QR code at the Challenger stand during the BMW Australian PGA Championship (Brisbane, 27-30 November 2025) or the Australian Open Golf tournament (Melbourne, 4-7 December 2025).
- Via social media: By following the link in Challenger competition posts or advertisements on platforms such as Facebook.
All entry methods will direct participants to one of the two official entry forms.
3. The competition opens 13 November 2025 and closes at midnight on 22 December 2025. The winning entry will be randomly selected on Wednesday, 7 January 2026. The winner will be contacted in writing on Thursday 8 January 2026 using the information provided in the entry form. If the winner does not respond to claim their prize within 14 days (14 calendar days) of being contacted, Challenger reserves the right to redraw the prize and select a new winner.
4. Entry is not open to employees or agents (and their immediate families) of Challenger Group and Challenger’s associated entities. Furthermore, entry is not open to financial advisers and their employees or agents, such as dealer group employees and their respective practices in Australia.
5. The judges may disqualify an entry by any person if, in their absolute discretion, inclusion of the entry would adversely affect public confidence in the competition or the reputation of Challenger or its associated entities. Entrants must, if requested by Challenger at any time, provide details of their identity, and age as well as their travel companion for the prize trip.
6. To be eligible for entry, entrants must complete the competition entry form available on the Challenger website or a form hosted on Facebook. Entrants must be over the age of 18 years and provide a valid email address and a mobile number.
Prize
7. The Prize: An Auckland Golfing Weekend
One winner will receive an unforgettable golfing weekend for two in Auckland, New Zealand. The total prize value is valued at up to $15,000. The prize package includes:
- Return international business-class flights for two people (from a major airport) to Auckland, New Zealand from Australia.
- Additional overweight baggage allowance for two sets of golf clubs. Airport transfers to the Te Arai Links golf course.
- Three nights' 5-star luxury accommodation in one room at Te Arai Links, Auckland, New Zealand in the Ocean View Rooms.
- Two rounds of golf at Te Arai Links golf course (1x North Course, 1x South Course), including green fees.
- Dinner for two at the Ocean Restaurant, located within the Te Arai Links resort (Voucher for NZ$400), valid for 12 months from date of purchase).
The prize can be redeemed between the period 2 March 2026 up to 1 December 2026, subject to availability. The prize must be booked in by 6 February 2026. Further details, including specific travel dates, hotel, and restaurant information, will be confirmed with the winner. Optional hire of golf clubs (brand to be confirmed) will be available if needed.
8. Prize Conditions
The prize is non-transferable and cannot be redeemed for cash. However, If the winner is injured or otherwise unable to participate, they may request to nominate a friend to receive the prize on their behalf, subject to Challenger’s approval. If the prize or any part of it is unavailable for whatever reason, Challenger reserves the right to substitute it with another prize of comparable value. On acceptance of the prize, the winner is required to take travel insurance for themselves and their travel companion.
Determination of winners
9. The winner will be contacted directly by a Challenger representative in writing using the contact details provided in the entry form. The winner will need to have provided a valid email address to claim the prize. The winner will be drawn on Wednesday, 7 January 2026, at 12:00 PM AEST at Challenger’s head office, Level 2, 5 Martin Place, Sydney, NSW 2000. The winner must respond within 14 days (14 calendar days) to claim the prize; if not, the prize will be redrawn.
10. If the prize is not claimed within the timeframe specified in Clause 9, a redraw will take place. The redraw will occur on Friday, 23 January 2026, at 12:00 PM AEST at Challenger’s head office, Level 2, 5 Martin Place, Sydney, NSW 2000. The winner of the redraw will be notified in writing within 7 days (7 calendar days) of the redraw using the contact details provided in their entry form. If the winner of the redraw does not claim the prize within 14 days (14 calendar days) of being contacted by Saturday, 7 February, the prize will be forfeited, and no further redraws will take place.
11. The competition is a game of chance.
12. At the time and date specified in the “Entry” section, each valid entry will be entered into a process of random selection. The draw will be conducted using a computerised random number generator to ensure fairness and transparency.
13. The winning entry will be the entry that is selected at a random draw.
14. The decision is final and binding, and no correspondence with entrants or any other person will be entered into. Challenger reserves the right in its sole discretion to disqualify entrants who do not comply with the terms, do not participate in the competition in good faith or who interfere with the entry process.
15. Challenger reserves the right to request the winning entrant to provide proof of their identity.
16. The last name, initial of the first name, and postcode of the winner of the prize (valued at $15,000) will be published within 30 days of the draw. The winner’s details will be published on Challenger’s social media platforms and on the competition entry page at challenger.com.au/tearailinksnzcomp. If the winner requests that their name and postcode not be published, Challenger will respect this request and ensure their details are not disclosed.
Liability
17. It is the responsibility of each entrant to notify Challenger of any change to their contact details within 5 days.
18. No responsibility will be taken by Challenger for lost or late entries. Further no responsibility will be taken by Challenger if a system or form glitch occurs during the submission process.
19. Challenger accepts no liability for any loss, damage or any personal injury whatsoever which is suffered or incurred by any entrant or third party (including, but not limited to, direct, indirect, incidental, punitive or consequential loss or damages) as a result of the competition or taking the prize and/or use of any element of the prize, except any liability which cannot be excluded by law.
20. Each entrant indemnifies Challenger against any losses suffered or incurred in connection with any claim which arises as a result of the entrant’s participation in the competition and taking the prize or use of any element of the prize.
21. Challenger reserves the right to vary the terms of, or cancel, the Competition at any time without liability to any entrant or other person, subject to applicable laws.
22. If for any reason any aspect of this Promotion is not capable of running as planned, including by reason of computer virus, communications network failure, bugs, tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, technical failure, or any cause beyond the control of Challenger (the Promoter), Challenger may, in its sole discretion, cancel, terminate, modify, or suspend the Promotion and invalidate any affected entries, or suspend or modify a prize, subject to the State or Territory regulation.
Intellectual property and privacy
23. Challenger reserves the right to capture/keep video footage of the prize winner and their friend during the Auckland Golfing Weekend to be used by Challenger in post promotional content, via Challenger social media.
24. Personal information of entrants will be collected by Challenger, entered into a database, and used to offer products and services of Challenger, its related entities, and business partners. This may include marketing communications via email, phone, and SMS. You may contact Challenger to seek access to the information Challenger holds about you or to inform us you wish to be removed from our contact list.
